10am - 4.30pm. For dogs of all ages which require some basic training or have behaviour problems. This day includes lectures and practical training and is the equivalent of a 6-week course all in one day!!(Bring your own lunch.) £50 Places must be booked

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH WE ADVERTISE 7-WEEK BLOCKS OF TRAINING....THE PUPPY CLASSES ARE ON-GOING AND YOU CAN JOIN AT ANY TIME!
Classes are now 4pm - 5.30pm & also 5.45 - 7pm.
It is well proven that the first 24 weeks in a dog's life is highly influential on it's adult behaviour. Over the last few years, Northumberland Canine Centre has been educating puppy owners in an attempt to reduce the incidence of Behaviour & Training problems in adult dogs. We can spot potential behaviour problems in puppies as early as 10 weeks old....including aggression! We can also tailor-make your training to suit both you and your puppy. Dogs tend to follow patterns of behaviour....but every owner is different!!
The 7-week course covers all aspects of owning and rearing a puppy but primarily concentrates on shaping temperament. So much early training can be done through structured play! We are certainly finding a reduction in problem behaviour in those puppies undergoing early training.

Puppies can join this course at any time in the 7-weeks (ind. sessions £8)
