Over the last few years, Northumberland Canine Centre has been educating puppy owners in an attempt to reduce the incidence of Behaviour & Training problems in adult dogs. This is proving to be a very successful programme and we are now able, with more fully trained Instructors, to offer regular afternoon & evening Puppy sessions and one-to-one training for puppies from 8 to 18 weeks. The course covers all aspects of owning a puppy but concentrates on shaping temperament and early training done through play! It is well proven that the first 24 weeks in a dog's life is highly influential to it's adult behaviour. We are certainly finding a reduction in problem behaviour in those puppies undergoing early training.

Puppy classes commence Thursday 3rd July 5.45 - 7pm.

This six week course is for dogs up to six months of age, and covers all aspects of puppy owning & training with specific interest in temperament.

New puppies can join at any point in the course.
